Our client is a well-established manufacturer supplying the construction and civil engineering industry with quality precast concrete products. They are looking for a hands-on candidate to take ownership of their internal sales and administration function and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day sales operation of the business.

This is a practical management role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll lead a small internal team, ensure customers receive exceptional service, coordinate closely with production and external sales, and help keep the business running efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting the internal sales and administration team.

  • Overseeing quotations, pricing, order processing and customer enquiries.

  • Coordinating with production, dispatch and external sales.

  • Improving processes and ensuring the smooth running of the sales office.

  • Assisting with delivery planning and customer communication.

  • Maintaining high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in Internal Sales, Sales Administration or Sales Support.

  • Experience supervising or leading a small team.

  • A background within construction, building materials, manufacturing, engineering or a related technical industry.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Good commercial awareness and confidence dealing with customers.

This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who enjoys taking ownership, leading by example and making a real contribution within a growing South African manufacturer.

Please note: This is a hands-on supervisor position within a smaller environment. To ensure expectations are aligned, candidates currently earning significantly above R25 000 per month are unlikely to find this opportunity financially suitable.
